521 Deputy Joe Higgins asked the Minister for Justice and Equality if the Personal Insolvency Bill will deal with a situation in which joint mortgage holders having split up and are in a situation where one is actually paying the mortgage and the second in a position of needing to apply for personal insolvency [29875/12]
Amharc ar fhreagraThe Deputy will appreciate that as the Personal Insolvency Bill has yet to be published, it would neither be possible nor appropriate at this point for me to comment on any particular potential insolvency scenario that might arise. In any event the Deputy will have an opportunity to raise this matter during the debate on the Bill when it comes before the House in the very near future.
