148 Deputy John McGuinness asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine the position regarding an application under the sheep fencing/mobile handling equipment scheme in respect of a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny; when a decision will issue; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Amharc ar fhreagraThe person concerned submitted an application for grant-aid under the Sheep Fencing/Mobile Equipment Scheme during the course of the tranche under that Scheme which closed on 29 February 2012. The application has been selected to proceed to the approval stage and the required pre-approval checks should be completed shortly to allow the approval to issue. Under the terms and conditions of the Scheme, work may not commence on the investment items concerned until written approval has been issued by my Department.
