291 Deputy Timmy Dooley asked the Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform when construction will commence on a project (details supplied) in County Meath; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [31997/12]
Amharc ar fhreagraTenders have been received for the first stage of the playground scheme. This comprises civil engineering work such as soil excavation, site preparation and drainage. The Local Authority has also been asked to make a contribution to the cost of this project as is normal in other areas where the OPW develops playgrounds. When Meath County Council has advised us of this, the matter can hopefully be progressed.
