Ceisteanna (229)

Jack Wall

Ceist:

231 Deputy Jack Wall asked the Minister for Health if a person who has been refused a medical card on appeal can, having now received confirmation from their doctor and consultant of further medical problems seek a review of the appeal decision; if so, if their medical card will still be valid in such circumstances; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I have asked the Health Service Executive for a report on the issue raised by the Deputy. I will revert to the Deputy on the matter as soon as possible.
