116 Deputy Jerry Buttimer asked the Minister for Education and Skills if he will provide details of the number of political advisers employed by him or his Department; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [35870/12]
Amharc ar fhreagraTwo Special Advisers were appointed to assist me in carrying out my functions and advise me on educational policy. In accordance with the terms of the Ethics in Public Office Acts copies of the appointees' contracts of employment together with details of their qualifications were laid before the Houses of the Oireachtas on the 28 October 2011.
