Amharc ar fhreagraI have no function in relation to grants for local authority housing which is a matter for my colleague, the Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government.
The Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI) operates the Better Energy Homes Programme, which is available to homeowners of private dwellings built before 2006. The Better Energy Homes solar grant for domestic water heating amounts to €800 for every eligible home where the installation meets the performance requirements set out in the Better Energy Homes Code of Practice and the homeowner’s Solar Buyers Guide.
