Amharc ar fhreagraStudent medical scientists who are in their third year of study, and who are accepted for clinical placement in a public health service laboratory, are eligible to receive a monthly training allowance of €813.58. I have asked the HSE to examine the circumstances regarding the payment of this allowance and will correspond with the Deputy on the matter as soon as possible.
