441. Deputy Bernard J. Durkan asked the Minister for Education and Skills his plans to open a school (details supplied) in County Kildare in the near future; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [38585/12]
Amharc ar fhreagraThe Deputy will be aware that the Department of Education and Skills recently terminated the contractor's obligation to complete the works at St Anne's National School in Ardclough, Co Kildare. The Department is liaising with the school authorities and has instructed the Design Team to commence work on procuring a completion contractor to complete the works. Subject to no issues arising, it is anticipated that the project will be completed in the coming months.
