106. Deputy Bernard J. Durkan asked the Minister for Social Protection the reasons for refusal of an application for dietary supplement in the case of a person (details supplied) in County Kildare; if she will review the application; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [41185/12]

The means of the person concerned were deemed to be in excess of the threshold for payment of diet supplement. A review of this case is being undertaken at present and the person concerned will be informed of the outcome once the review is completed.
