220. Deputy Brendan Griffin asked the Minister for Transport; Tourism and Sport if he will provide a breakdown of the amount of money that Bus Éireann spends annually on private bus operators and operators who are based in Northern Ireland; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [41200/12]

The issue raised by the Deputy is a matter for Bus Éireann and not one in which I have any role.  I have referred the Deputy's question to the company for direct reply.  He should advise my private office if he does not receive a reply within ten working days.
