216. Deputy Thomas P. Broughan asked the Minister for Transport; Tourism and Sport the number of additional DART railcars, intercity railcars brought into services for the years 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011 and to date in 2012; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [42155/12]

I understand from Iarnród Eireann that the 76 DART cars listed above were the original DART fleet reintroduced to service in 2007/2008 after a major refurbishment programme carried out by Siemens.
