222. Deputy John McGuinness asked the Minister for Education and Skills the position regarding a contractor for a school project (details supplied) in County Kilkenny; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [45904/12]
Amharc ar fhreagraThe contract for the school building project to which the Deputy refers, is between the school authorities and the contractor in question. Following notification from the school that works did not proceed as expected on October 8th, Department officials met with the school authorities and their Design Team to consider the next steps. My officials are liaising with the school authorities and are monitoring progress on this project.
