236. Deputy Pearse Doherty asked the Minister for Finance further to Parliamentary Question No. 141 of 23 October 2012, if a person (details supplied) has been appointed to the National Development Agency, and if he will provide a brief background on this appointee. [48093/12]
Amharc ar fhreagraI wish to clarify that it was Mr Gerry Murray who was appointed to the Board of the National Development Finance Agency (NDFA) in July 2012 and not Mr Gerry Murphy as stated in reply to Parliamentary Question No 141 of 23 October 2012. Mr Murray is the Chief Executive of Institutes of Technology Ireland (IOTI), which is the representative body for thirteen of Ireland’s Institutes of Technology. He was formerly the Head of the PPP Unit in the Department of Education and Skills and has direct experience of PPPs and project management.
