93. Deputy Brendan Griffin asked the Minister for Finance the total number of litres of motor fuel, petrol and diesel, sold in the State in the five most recent years for which figures are available; the total amount of State revenue directly generated by these sales; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I am informed by the Revenue Commissioners that the number of litres of petrol and diesel that were sold in the state in the past five years is not available. However, the number of litres of petrol and diesel where Mineral Oil Tax was paid in the calendar years 2007 to 2011 is as follows:
