291. Deputy Thomas Pringle asked the Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform if he will provide details of the payment of bonuses or other performance related payments and or allowances made to the staff of agencies under the aegis of his Department with a yearly breakdown from 2008 outlining the overall amount paid in each year period and the number of staff that received such payments and or allowances. * Please note that this included a contractual performance related bonus of £8,000 was paid to the SEUPB’s Chief Executive in May 2008 for the 2007 performance year. There have been no bonuses awarded to the Chief Executive since this date. All other bonuses were paid under a Northern Irish Civil Service Bonus scheme to staff based in Belfast and Omagh who work under the terms and conditions of employment of the Northern Ireland Civil Service.
