Deputy Dessie Ellis asked the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport if his attention has been drawn to a report into the embedded block system failure in the LUAS; the works that were required and carried out; if any further works are required and planned; and if a fund is in place to pay for same. The issue raised is an operational matter for the Railway Procurement Agency (RPA) and I have forwarded the Deputy's questions to the company for direct reply. The Deputy should advise my private office if he does not receive a reply within ten working days.
