123. Deputy Peadar Tóibín asked the Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation the number of persons employed within the public sector by his Department or agency and by grade for each year of the five consecutive years for which the most recent data is available. [30457/13]
Amharc ar fhreagraThe number of staff in my Department at the end of each of the last five years is as outlined in the table below. The numbers incorporate staff assigned to offices of my Department: the Patents Office, the Companies Registration Office, the Labour Relations Commission, the Labour Court, the National Employment Rights Authority, the Employment Appeals Tribunal, and the Office of the Director of Corporate Enforcement. The Agencies within my Department’s remit are operationally independent. I have asked them to reply directly to the Deputy.
