Amharc ar fhreagraPreschool services are subject to the Child Care (Pre-School Services) (No.2) Regulations 2006, as provided for under Part VII of the Child Care Act 1991. The implementation of the Regulations and the inspection of preschools is the responsibility of the Health Service Executive (HSE).
It is the practise, therefore, that any issues that arise in relation to the delivery of care in child-care services are referred to the HSE for their attention.
