524. Deputy Michael Ring asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine the reason the remaining balance on farm payment has not yet issued to a person (details supplied) in County Galway; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [30681/13]
Amharc ar fhreagraA thorough review of all the background circumstances of this case is being conducted as a matter of priority. While it is acknowledged that there are issues concerning the digitising of some of the land parcels declared by the person named, there are also issues concerning ineligible features, in respect of which due allowance might not have been made and the claimed areas of each of the land parcels; each of these issues needs to be addressed. The review is currently being conducted and on its completion, the applicant will be advised of the outcome, in writing.
