Deputy Michael Healy-Rae asked the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport the reason persons have to wait so long for an NCT to be carried out on their vehicles; the average time for waiting; the number of cars in the system waiting for a test to be carried out; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
