159. Deputy Damien English asked the Minister for Finance if an application for a tax clearance certificate by a community sporting organisation (details supplied) in County Limerick has been received; if a decision will be made shortly on this application; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I have been advised by the Revenue Commissioners that the person in question applied online for a Tax Clearance Certificate on 2 July 2013. A Tax Clearance Certificate issued to this person on 5 July 2013. This Certificate is valid until 4 July 2014.
