Ceisteanna (276)

Jim Daly

Ceist:

276. Deputy Jim Daly asked the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport if provision has been made by the NDLS to renew driving licences for persons (details supplied) who are out of the country for a period of time and not in a position to attend at an NDLS centre; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The subject matter of this question relates to the operation of the National Driver Licensing Service, which is the statutory responsibility of the Road Safety Authority.  I have therefore referred the question to the Authority for direct reply.  I would ask the Deputy to contact my office if a response has not been received within ten days.
