The assessment of the flooding problem at this specific location is a matter for Fingal County Council in the first instance. It is open to the Council to submit an application for funding under the Office of Public Work's Minor Flood Mitigation Works & Coastal Protection Scheme for small scale, localised flood relief works. Any application received will be assessed under the eligibility criteria, which includes a requirement that any measures are cost beneficial, and have regard to the overall availability of funding.
