168. Deputy Brendan Griffin asked the Minister for Education and Skills if a decision has been made on a student grant appeal in respect of a person (details supplied) in County Kerry; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [12085/14]
Amharc ar fhreagraOfficials in my Department have confirmed that the student referred to by the Deputy has appealed the decision of the awarding authority to the independent Student Grants Appeals Board. The appeal is due for consideration by the board on Tuesday 11th March 2014. The decision of the Appeals Board will issue directly to the student.
