30. Deputy Martin Heydon asked the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport his plans to develop a similar tourism offering to the Wild Atlantic Way for the east of the country; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [15124/14]

However, I understand that in 2014 a particular focus for Fáilte Ireland is to explore the development of a tourism proposition of scale and singularity for the South and East, similar to the Wild Atlantic Way, primarily based on the abundance of cultural and heritage assets in the area - much of which has benefitted from significant capital investment by Fáilte Ireland in recent years.
