177. Deputy Pearse Doherty asked the Minister for Finance if any assessment has been made on the potential impact of the National Treasury Management Agency's reserves of SI 182 of 2014; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [21064/14]
Amharc ar fhreagraThe National Treasury Management Agency (NTMA) is known as the State Claims Agency (SCA) when carrying out its role of managing claims on behalf of State Authorities who are liable in respect of claims and from whom the SCA recovers the amount of any awards and associated costs. Day-to-day claims costs are met from the Post Office Savings Bank Fund, as set out in the legislation establishing the State Claims Agency. The SCA seek reimbursement of any expenditure on claims on a monthly basis from the relevant State Authorities.
