308. Deputy Stephen S. Donnelly asked the Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform if any telephone calls in or out of his Department are being or ever have been recorded, and if so, if he will provide details of the systems used to record and store such calls, the cost to his Department; and if he will make a statement on the matter. In response to the Deputy s question I can confirm that my Department does not engage in recording telephone calls nor is it a matter I am currently considering.
