544. Deputy Sean Fleming asked the Minister for Justice and Equality the number of commercial semi-State companies under the aegis of her Department; the current value of the pension fund assets held by each commercial semi-State company; the latest funding position of each; and if she will make a statement on the matter. I am assuming that the Deputy is referring to semi-State bodies who have a significant element of commercial or trade activities within their remit. The bodies and agencies attached to my Department provide public services in the broad Justice area, and, as such, do not engage in any significant commercial activity.
