107. Deputy Finian McGrath asked the Minister for Social Protection the position regarding jobseeker's allowance in respect of a person (details supplied) in Dublin 9; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [21725/14]
Amharc ar fhreagraThe person concerned made a claim for jobseeker’s allowance on 15 April 2014. As part of the approval process he was interviewed by a Social Welfare Inspector and was asked to submit supporting documentation in order that his means can be correctly assessed. Despite several efforts having been made by this Department to contact the person concerned to discuss his application, this information remains outstanding. No decision on his application can be made until such time as the information is received.
