The HSE has advised that discussions with the National Clinical Care Programme and the clinical care team on-site have identified (due to the increase in numbers within the service) a requirement for an increase in the number of in-patient single room accommodation for CF patients in Beaumont Hospital. The hospital and local HSE management are working through options in relation to this and anticipate putting forward a business case to address this requirement for the 2015 service plan.
