232. Deputy Jonathan O'Brien asked the Minister for Education and Skills if he has issued any guidance to the State Examinations Commission regarding the timeframe in which it must reply to parliamentary questions. [24401/14]
Amharc ar fhreagraParliamentary Questions, for answer by the State Examinations Commission, are forwarded to the SEC on the day they are received in my Department. It is normal practice that all Parliamentary Questions are replied to by the answer date set by the Questions Office in the Oireachtas. Unavoidably, some delays may occur e.g. where a Parliamentary Question requires investigation or collation of data.
