392. Deputy Mary Lou McDonald asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine the annual saving to the Exchequer if the pay of all ministerial special advisers was capped in his Department at the first point of the principal officer grade. [30904/14]

If salaries paid to the special advisors employed in my Department are capped at the first point of the Principal Officer standard scale, the annual saving would be €33,582.
