Deputy Heather Humphreys asked the Minister for Health if he will provide an update on the action plan for Cavan-Monaghan hospital to achieve and maintain scheduled care wait time targets for 2014, which was submitted to the national director of acute hospitals; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Amharc ar fhreagraThe action plan submitted by Cavan & Monaghan Hospital relates to the achievements and maintenance of scheduled care wait time targets for patients availing of outpatients appointments. This plan was submitted to the National Director of Acute Hospitals in Quarter 1 2014. It is currently under review by the National Director.
At local level Cavan & Monaghan Hospital are doing all possible to facilitate outpatient appointments within the target timeframes for patients.
