Deputy Catherine Murphy asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Social Protection the number of her Department's employees that are administering the schemes in local Department of Social Protection offices; the number that have been withdrawn, redeployed, retired or promoted out of the section in the past three years, per region; and if she will make a statement on the matter. Amharc ar fhreagraThe number of staff employed in each Division of the Department will be forwarded to the Deputy shortly, as the data is not readily available and will take some time to collate.
The information requested regarding staff that have left the Divisions over the past three years is not maintained in the manner requested. Figures are held on overall retirements, resignations and transfers out of the Department, and not by specific office or region, nor by internal transfers and redeployments within the regions. This data will also be forwarded to the Deputy.
