532. Deputy Joe Costello asked the Minister for Education and Skills the requirements for language schools in view of the recent court ruling on language school accreditation; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [2650/15]
Amharc ar fhreagraThe judgment in relation to legal proceedings challenging some aspects of the planned reforms to international education was received last week. The range of options that are available to progress the reforms in a manner consistent with the High Court decision and without prejudice to a possible appeal are being considered by the Department of Justice and Equality in conjunction with my Department. The Government is committed to maintaining Ireland's reputation as a high quality destination for international students and will continue to implement all necessary reforms to protect that reputation.
