578. Deputy Brendan Griffin asked the Minister for Health his plans to address the issue of cover replacements for home helpers taking holidays; if the Health Service Executive will be provided with a budget to cover this; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [14529/15]

Under the HSE's National Service Plan for 2015 it committed to the provision of 10.3 million home help hours. The HSE manages the service within these parameters.
