Deputy Caoimhghín Ó Caoláin asked the Minister for Health the amount spent on installing a birthing pool in Waterford Regional Hospital; the date on which it was installed; the number of women who have used the pool since its installation; the reason it is not currently in use; the hospital's future plans for the pool; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
