Durkan asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Social Protection why a respite care grant is not being awarded for 2014 to a person (details supplied) in County Meath; if any information remains outstanding, given that all the required information was submitted; and if she will make a statement on the matter. Amharc ar fhreagraThe person concerned was requested to supply some additional details in connection with her claim for the 2014 Respite Care Grant, which she failed to do. My Department accordingly wrote to her on 23rd October 2015 advising her that it was unable to take any further action with her application in the absence of this information. My Department is still awaiting a reply.
