534. Deputy Jim Daly asked the Minister for Education and Skills the proposed start and completion dates for the pending redevelopment of a college (details supplied) in County Cork; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [45170/15]
Amharc ar fhreagraThe major building project for the school to which the Deputy refers was recently authorised to proceed to advanced architectural planning – Stage 2b, detailed design. This stage includes the applications for Planning Permission, Fire Cert and Disability Access Cert and the preparation of Tender Documents. As the Deputy is aware, on Tuesday 17th November 2015 I announced details of the major school building projects where construction is expected to commence over the next 6 years. I am pleased to inform the Deputy that the project to which he refers is included in this plan to proceed to construction in 2017. Information in respect of all projects on this 6 year plan is available on my Department's website www.education.ie.
