Deputy Dan Neville asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine the status of an appeal of an application under the 2014 single payment scheme and the disadvantaged areas scheme by a person (details supplied) in County Limerick; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Amharc ar fhreagraAn application under the Single Payment/Disadvantaged Areas Scheme was received from the person named on the 14 May 2014. Following a partially successful appeal to the Agriculture Appeal Office, the person named was paid his 2014 Single Payment on 18 September 2015.
Payment is now due under the Disadvantaged Areas Scheme in respect of 11.06 hectares. Payment will issue directly to the nominated bank account of the person named at the earliest possible date.
