The person concerned submitted an application for jobseeker’s allowance with effect from 14 October 2015. In addition to a number of other qualifying conditions, a person must satisfy the condition of being habitually resident in the state. The application was disallowed on the basis that the person concerned was not deemed to be habitually resident in the state. It is open to the person concerned to seek a review of this decision or to appeal the decision to the independent social welfare appeals office.
