460. Deputy Noel Coonan asked the Minister for Education and Skills the status of an application for funding by a school (detailed supplied) in County Tipperary, including details of the works applied for; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [4010/16]
Amharc ar fhreagraI can confirm that the school, referred to by the Deputy, made an application to my Department for a GP Room in July 2015.
The school were advised in 23rd July 2015 that due to competing demands on my Department's capital budget imposed by the need to prioritise available funding for the provision of essential school classroom accommodation, it was not possible to provide an indicative timeframe for the provision of funding, as requested.
