Deputy Fergus O'Dowd asked the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport the position regarding the access allowed by Transport Infrastructure Ireland to private service providers to ducting along the M1, M2 and M3 motorways for the provision of broadband and telecommunications services; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Amharc ar fhreagraAs Minister for Transport,Tourism & Sport I have responsibility for overall policy and funding in relation to the national roads programme. The planning, design and implementation of individual national road projects(and the provision of ducting on them) is a matter for Transport Infrastructure Ireland (TII).
