Deputy Éamon Ó Cuív asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine if his Department has approved a GLAS application in respect of a person (details supplied) in County Galway; if so, the commencement date of this GLAS plan; when the first payment is due to be paid; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Amharc ar fhreagraThe person named was unable to submit an application for the second tranche of GLAS due to an issue with the designation of a parcel as a natura parcel. My Department has and is continuing to review this case with a view to the person named being able to submit a complete application for GLAS 2. GLAS officials will contact the person named when the issue is resolved to allow an application to be submitted.
