Ceisteanna (493)

Niamh Smyth

Ceist:

493. Deputy Niamh Smyth asked the Minister for Health if his attention has been drawn to the fact that 12,000 persons are living with Parkinson's disease here; the reason there are only five specialist nurses to deal with the condition; his plans to increase services; and if he will make a statement on the matter. As the Deputy's question relates to service matters, I have arranged for the question to be referred to the Health Service Executive for direct reply to the Deputy.
