80. Deputy Bríd Smith asked the Minister for Arts, Heritage, Regional, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs if she has received or sought a legal opinion on whether sections of the proposed Heritage Bill may contravene EU directives such as the birds and habitats directives, the European Communities (Birds and Natural Habitats) Regulations 2011, the European Union (Natural Habitats) Regulations SI 94/1997 or the Wildlife Amendment Act 2000; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
