265. Deputy Clare Daly asked the Minister for Culture, Heritage and the Gaeltacht if a NPWS ranger was present at the hare coursing meeting at Kilflynn, County Kerry, on the weekend of 30 September 2017; and the timeframe for a report to be available regarding the welfare and release of the hares that were used as live targets at this event. The National Parks and Wildlife Service of my Department was present at each day of the recent coursing meeting at Kilflynn, County Kerry. A report on that meeting will be prepared and published as soon as possible.
