Deputy Bríd Smith asked the Minister for Communications, Climate Action and Environment if he or officials from his Department have met with or had representations made to them regarding energy policy and renewable energy by representatives of a company (details supplied); and the details of all such meetings or representations. Amharc ar fhreagraTo date, neither I or my officials have had meetings or representations from the company named by the Deputy. My officials have occasionally met a representative of the company (who is also a member of the Board of SEAI) on an informal basis as part of routine engagement with energy sector stakeholders. Recently, a formal request to meet officials was received, however no arrangements have yet been made. Such interactions are characteristic of ongoing engagement by the Department with energy sector stakeholders.
