Deputy John Curran asked the Minister for Children and Youth Affairs if the difficulties being experienced by a crèche (details supplied) in County Dublin regarding the administration of the new affordable childcare scheme will be investigated; if payments will be backdated on resolution of the matter; and if she will make a statement on the matter. Amharc ar fhreagraWith regard to the details supplied by the Deputy, I understand that officials from my Department have been in contact with this service provider and this issue has been resolved to the provider’s satisfaction. The payments will be backdated to the date the child is registered as having commenced accessing the subvented childcare scheme and is attending.
