263. Deputy Thomas Pringle asked the Minister for Education and Skills the status of an application for emergency works by a school (details supplied); when it will be granted; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [4608/18]
Amharc ar fhreagraThe school referred to by Deputy submitted an application under my Department’s Emergency Works Scheme for car parking facilities and the reinstatement of a boundary wall. The provision of car parking facilities is outside the scope of the emergency works scheme. It is open to the school to apply for these works under any future Summer Works Scheme.
My Department is currently awaiting a revised emergency works application from the school for works to reinstate the boundary wall only.
